Genealogical Library

The Genealogical Library, established in 1986, merged with the BV County Museum in 2022. It was established by people interested in researching and preserving County family histories. Among our resources are Cemetery Books, Plat Books, Probate Records, Obituary files and many family histories. We have access to census records on microfilm and original copies of many old newspapers from the county. We offer research services or can aid you in your search.
